Learn the management techniques to stop giving your hard-earned money to the input folks. There will be multiple pasture walks detailing the techniques used to run a profitable grazing operation.
Fencing and Pasture Set Up and Water Development
Greg will be sharing his decades of experience with a variety of fencing products and talk about how to minimize time and effort moving fences. You’ll also learn about water development and how to make sure livestock have the water they need.
Winter Stockpiling Techniques
We will go over our management practices on how to grow winter stockpiles to reduce costly winter hay feeding.
Cattle Management and Grass Genetics
Learn more about the herd you can build by paying attention to which animals work best for your operation and getting rid of those animals that don’t. Greg will also talk about their parasite and disease management practices.

You don’t have to buy land or inherit it from your family to be a farmer or rancher. Greg will show you how to find land to lease, how to work with landowners to set up win-win contracts, and show you examples of what he’s done to build his own operation.
